Your water. Your environment. Your voice.

Key Components

Create a new Environmental Center

The new center will serve as the central hub of all Watershed Association activities. Designed to achieve the environmentally acclaimed LEED Platinum certification from the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design program, this new facility will demonstrate responsible technologies as it provides classrooms, exhibit halls, a laboratory, computer learning center, conference rooms, gift shop, kitchen and staff offices.

Redesign our Trail Network

We will reconfigure our trail network on our 930-acre Watershed Reserve to better educate guests about the Reserve’s distinctive habitats. Trail improvements will also provide greater year-round accessibility to visitors of all ages and mobilities.

Fortify the Watershed Endowment

Strengthening the Watershed Association’s endowment will provide for the responsible maintenance of our new facilities and bolster our long-term fiscal stability.
