Teacher Workshop in the Butterfly House

The Buttinger Nature Center offers a series of teacher workshops throughout the year. These workshops are designed to empower teachers by increasing their understanding of the local natural environment through hands-on, enquiry based activities that promote environmental literacy and provide students with a sense of stewardship. The workshops are a fun learning experience that explore the natural environment while demonstrating that we are inextricably connected to and dependent on the earth.

Participants must be prepared to be outside for most workshops.

To register for a workshop:
Call the Buttinger Nature Center at 609-737-7592, email bnc@thewatershed.org, or RSVP online below. Maximum participant limits are kept small to allow for an intimate learning experience. Please note that an RSVP does not guarantee a seat at the workshop. Payment must be received to confirm a reservation.

Registration payment may be dropped off at the Buttinger Nature Center during visitation hours or sent by mail to: Buttinger Nature Center, 31 Titus Mill Road, Pennington, NJ 08534.
Cash, checks, money orders and VISA/Mastercard are accepted.

Cancellations: Please give us 24 hours notice when canceling, so others waiting may join.

Special Opportunity - Call 609-737-7592 to arrange an in-service workshop at your school!

We will be adding some additional workshops throughout the year, so please check back often.
