Research
Ecological research has been a mission of the Watershed Reserve since its inception. Dr. Muriel Buttinger, in making her generous gift of land to the Watershed Association did so with this expressed purpose. Throughout the years, the Reserve has been the subject of much study. Most recently, the Reserve has hosted researchers from area colleges and universities investigating such topics as spider behavior, wild bees and other native pollinators, invasive versus native plant competition and song sparrow behavior and population dynamics.
Please contact the our Conservation Director Bay Weber to learn more about conducting research on our Reserve at (609) 737-3735.
