Organic Farm

Demonstration of responsible land management continues to be a primary focus on the Watershed Reserve. Over the past 20 years, a portion of the Reserve has been leased to Honey Brook Organic Farm (formerly known as the Watershed Organic Farm). This privately owned and operated enterprise provides fresh organic produce annually from May to November to 2,500 shareholders through its Community Supported Agriculture program. Under the stewardship of farmer Jim Kinsel, the Honey Brook Organic Farm serves to showcase successful soil and water management practices and the viability of organic farming, while providing educational opportunities for young and old alike. The Watershed Association is pleased to continue our partnership with Honey Brook Organic Farm.
