Functional Rain Garden
Now our rain garden serves as an ideal habitat for butterflies and other wildlife. It is also functioning as a filter to reduce pollutants in stormwater runoff, such as nutrients and pesticides from lawn applications, and oil and metals from vehicles and road surfaces. For more information on our Rain Garden download our flyer, Planting a Rain Garden (pdf on legal paper).
